SBA's Working Capital Pilot is a new offering to support monitored lines of credit within the 7(a) loan program. As the first new loan program in more than a decade, the WCP can support a range of financing needs for growing small businesses and brings together the best features of the existing permanent 7(a) line of credit delivery methods. In the third and final installment of our three-part WCP series, we will focus on the Asset Based WCP financing method. The Asset Based WCP is intended to be the delivery method best positioned to support regular and recurring working capital needs for small and midsized entities. With the ability to serve as a build-around program, the Asset Based WCP can support a wide variety of industries through the deployment of scalable working capital. During this third session, lenders will gain an understanding on how the WCP can complement their existing SBA and ABL offerings.
