Hearing Description: County Attorney’s Office: Wildfire Mitigation and Emergency Response ballot measures Item No. 1: Resolution 2022- 50; describing a proposal to impose a 0.10% countywide sales and use tax for the purpose of funding countywide wildfire mitigation efforts. ACTION REQUESTED: Approval Item No. 2: Resolution 2022-51; approving a ballot title for the November 8, 2022 general election to impose a 0.10% countywide sales and use tax for the purpose of funding countywide wildfire mitigation efforts. ACTION REQUESTED: Approval Item No. 3: Resolution 2022-52; describing a proposal to impose a 0.10%, declining to 0.05% after five years, countywide sales and use tax for the purpose of funding emergency response. ACTION REQUESTED: Approval Item No. 4: Resolution 2022-53; approving a ballot title for the November 8, 2022 general election to impose a 0.10%, declining to 0.05% after five years, countywide sales and use tax for the purpose of funding emergency response.
